Varsity Sports-
Hope College intercollegiate teams compete in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, also known as MIAA. Teams are also eligible to compete in Division III championships. Hope College offers 20 varsity sports, including 10 for Men and 10 for Women. The varsity sports are as follows:
- Council for Exceptional Children-CEC is an organization that aims to connect with adults and students with special needs in the local Holland area.
- Club Animalia- Club Animalia works to promote animal well-being on campus and through our community and to provide services to students in order to increase awareness and stimulate interest in careers related to animal care, including veterinarian.
- Engineers Without Borders-Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is an organization which partners with disadvantaged communities to improve quality of life through implementation of environmentally, equitable, and economically sustainable engineering projects.
- Mortar Board- Mortar Board is a National Honor Society for outstanding college seniors.
- Omicron Delta Kappa- Was formulated by the idea that leadership of exceptional quality and versatility in college should be recognized, that representatives in all phases of college life should cooperate in a worthwhile endeavor, and that outstanding students, faculty and administration members should meet on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness.
Arts-
- Ballet Club- The Ballet Club exists to explore the spirit of ballet by increasing our technical efficiency through classical ballet, and to consider the role that ballet plays in today's dance world through contemporary and original works rooted in ballet.
- Hip Hop Club- Hip Hop Club meets once a week for an hour while different members teach various hip hop combinations. This club is for all levels of dancers. There is no prior dance experience needed.
- Vanderprov- Vanderprov is an improvisational comedy group created to entertain Hope students. Vanderprov provides free, unscripted, and off the wall comedy to the campus and greater community.
- Hockey Club- Hockey Club is not a Varsity sport, but you still have to tryout for a position in the club.
- Pom Pom Team- The Pom team was created in 2002 by Hope College students that wanted to bring other Hope students that shared their Pom interest together.
Community Service-
- Alpha Phi Omega- Created to educate students in the values of Leadership, Friendship, and Service.
- Volunteer Service- Created to help the community with a variety of different services. Such as building houses, gardening and cleaning.
- Habitat for Humanity- Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, economical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action.
Multicultural Life-
- Black Student Union
- Hope's Asian Perspective Association- HAPA's mission is to educate and stimulate discussion on Asian and Asian-American history, experiences and perspectives within the community of Hope College.
- International Relations Club- Our goal is to educate ourselves, our college and community about a world that is making new connections and discoveries all the time; whose old alliances and sympathies are giving way to the news; a world whose rapidly changing economies and culture demand a fresh understanding.
- La Raza Unida- The mission of Hope College's La Raza Unida is to affirm Latin Culture and heritage and celebrate its contributions to the Hope College and greater Holland Communities.
